BEHIND THE SCENES (WHY NOT?)
|
So after the announcement I made at the start of the month about bringing this thing here to an end soon, I thought I'd share a few photos of early-Lindemannade. See, back before I bought my trusty graphics tablet (fun fact if you didn't know already: my graphics tablet is actually signed by none other than Zach Weinersmith of SMBC, a very influential person/comic to me!), the first 18 comics I made were originally drawn on paper then scanned and finished off somewhat awkwardly digitally.
As such I still have this big ol' folder full of the original pages for those 18 comics: As you can probably tell, I liked to draw BIG, like TOO DAMN BIG, like '1 sheet of A4 to a single panel'-big. As such all those plastic wallets in there (which you can see best in the final photo in the collection above) have about 10 sheets in each. It's fair to say there was a major decrease in global deforestation when I switched to my tablet...
Well, one last photo I'll leave you with from those early days is this, the first ever time I drew my comic's main man. We've come along way bud. New comic every Monday
